(Richard was living in Miami)

     At our 10th year reunion, Richard was a CPA employed by the Ecological Science Corporation in the capacity of Division Comptroller. He attended the University of Florida and received his B.S.B.A. degree there. He also served in the U.S.A.F. Reserves. His wife’s name is Kathy.

     At our 20th year reunion, Richard was the Secretary/Treasurer and Director of All State Properties, Inc., 4200 NW 16th Street, Lauderhill, Florida. While at the University of Florida, he was a member of Delta Tau Delta Fraternity and Alpha Kappa Psi Fraternity. He was a Certified Public Accountant, a registered Real Estate Broker and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He was married to Kathy, and they had one child, Stephen, age 6.

     In checking marriage records for Florida, Richard married Erma Katherine “Kathy” Fritz in Dade County, November, 1966.

     5/18/10 - I was able to locate Kathy Astley in Waynesville, NC. She lives there 6 months out of the year and 6 months in Weston, Broward, Florida.
     We talked about Richard and she told me that he died of heart disease. Both his father and uncle died of heart disease when they were in their 40’s, as was Richard. She told me about their one son, Stephen.

     Stephen went to Florida State University and then to the University of Miami law school. He entered the Navy and also went to the Naval Justice School and became a JAG attorney. He was in charge of the defense team with the Pacific fleet in Hawaii. He obtained his masters degree in accounting and is now a partner in a law firm in Boca Raton, Florida. He has 2 children.
