Eloise was one of our honor graduates, graduating 27th in our class of over 700. The “Senior Activities” section in our year book indicated the following activities:
Cadettes 2, 3; Captain’s Aide 3; Spanish National Honor
Society l, 2, President 3; Sorrota 2, 3; Y-Teens 3; Ten Pointer 3.
I received information from Eloise’s oldest child and only daughter, Victoria Corlazzoli. She was kind enough to give me the following information:
Eloise was born in Waukegan, Illinois. She received some secondary education from Florida State University in Tallahassee. While she was there, she met and married her husband, John O. Wilkinson in 1962. John died of colon cancer in July, 1972. She and John had 3 children Victoria, Barry and Adrian and 7 grandchildren.
Eloise worked as a self employed, court transcriber.
She said: “Mother was a beautiful person inside and out and you all knew her first”.
Her death was due to complications from Pick’s Disease.
