Jeanette’s (or Jeanie) photo is in the Beacon, however, no “Senior Activities” are listed for her.
We have no information in any of our reunion booklets.
I was unable to find any public records on her.
Two of our classmates, Betty Watson and Flonnie King, said that Jeanie had entered the Navy after high school. One or both of them said they’d seen the obituary in the paper. That she died while in the Navy; that apparently she had a hole in her heart that lead to her death during physical training.
It is believed she died somewhere between April and October of 1963 and is buried in Flagler Cemetery in Miami.
