Hi Everybody! Its time to start promoting next
years reunion. I started calling it "Our 70th Birthday Bash" because
most of us will be 70 sometime in 2012. (I turned 69 in July).

2012 Reunion News Bulletin
The next Edison
Over-the-Hill Gang
Reunion is August 3-5, 2012
at the
Marriott Doral Golf Resort & Spa
in Miami. Room rate is the
same as last year, $111 plus tax, with
free parking in the Legends Ballroom
parking lot. As in 2010, we have
complete and exclusive use of the
Legends Ballroom for the weekend. For
those wishing to stay in the south
Florida area longer, the Doral will
extend our rate three days before and
after our event.
We will be celebrating the 50th reunion
of the classes of '62 and '63 as a
reunion within our reunion. Please
contact us if there are any other
classes wishing to celebrate their
reunion within ours.
Friday night will be
Reunion-within-Reunion dinners. Those
classes not having individual
celebrations will join in the combined
general OTHG buffet dinner. After the
individual dinners, all classes will be
joined together for entertainment and
dancing by
Spanky and Dino.
Saturday morning after breakfast we will
again have our Edison Pep Rally
featuring the Edison Band, Cheerleaders,
Cadettes, Majorettes, and more. Saturday
night all classes will be together for
the Edison Banquet, with entertainment
and dancing afterward by
The Fabulons.
Sunday morning we will have a
continental breakfast and time to say
our goodbyes for another 2 years. The
Miami Edison OTHG has a very extensive
inventory of school and class
memorabilia which we display at every
reunion and which takes up a whole
banquet room. |

Last year we had
147 of us plus guests. Virtually all of us promised that we would be
back in 2012. I hope that the rest of you will join us.

inquiries last year before the 50th reunion. Sometimes, knowing that an
