Anne Allen known in High School as Orianne
Treadwell. I attended Edison Junior and Senior High
until about the middle of my
senior year. I was going to school half a day and
working at night. So I decided I would work full time to
help my mom out. I later took the GED and got my
diploma.
I
was in the class of 60' but dropped out in my Senior
year to work for Ma Bell full time. I had been working
part time and going to school part time, but after my
mom and dad divorced I dropped out of school to bring in
more money. I did this against my mom's wishes, but I
felt it was the right thing to do. And It turned out to
be a job that lasted almost 30 years, and I also got my
GED. So I am retired now and enjoy my children and
grandchildren and love working in my yard. I have i
think almost 20 rose bushes, Iris, lilies azaleas, about
6 07 crape myrtle trees that I grew from babies. Just
about anywhere you look you see flowers. I like dancing
(still) and cooking out with family and friends. I like
to doing aerobics. I guess this Bio is a little longer
than I meant to do, so THE END....
I've been married to Brad Allen for fourteen years
Between the two of us we have three daughters and three
grandchildren.
We live in the big town of Odenville Al. near
Birmingham. Since we moved here it has grown in leaps
and bounds; we have two traffic lights and a police
force like Mayberry
I have
some up to date photos I would like to put in the
Photogallery. I already have a small text and one of my
class pictures and another picture in there, so I guess
you will probably add these to them. I hope it's not to
many, but you can sort them out, I'm sure.
